Canberra Potters Society’s Christmas Gift Fair is just the place to stock up on original handcrafted gifts for the festive season. This annual event is always chock full of clay in many and varied forms: artworks, functional items, kitchenware, jewellery and more. And if you drop by between 5pm and 7pm on Friday 10th December you can enjoy some festive cheer while you shop.
The gift fair features the work of some of the society’s professional and semi-professional members so not only can you find original gifts but you have the satisfaction of knowing that your purchases support local creativity. With prices to suit every budget you’re bound to find something to suit even the fussiest of tastes.
For gifts with a difference, take a trip to Watson - there’s ample free parking. This year’s Gift Fair starts on the 9th December and closes at 2pm on Friday 24th December.
Christmas trading hours:
until 19th: Thursday to Sunday 10am - 4pm (Friday 10th until 7pm)
21st to 24th: daily 10am - 4pm (closing 2pm on 24th)
