Workshop and performance

You and your guests are invited to join Craft ACT: Craft and Design Centre for a FREE workshop and performance by renowned textile artist Kay Lawrence to be held in the Centre's Gallery on Saturday 24 September 2011.
In the project Your heart’s desire, Kay Lawrence threads buttons brought to her by the community onto handmade silk string in a performance designed to bring people together to consider their heart’s desire, symbolised by a string of 1000 buttons. As well as contributing a button, participants are invited to record their heart’s desire in an artist’s book.
Please think about your heart's desire and bring a button or two so you can participate in the project.
Drop in anytime on Saturday between 12pm and 4pm to participate in this event.
