Canberra Spinners and Weavers will be running an Introduction to Weaving course over 3 weekends in August/September 28/29 August, 12 and 19 September 2010 at the Guild rooms in Ainslie.
The tutor is Monique van Nieuwland. The course is tailored for beginner weavers, and covers how to dress a loom, introduces plain and twill weaves, and equips you to be able to plan your next weaving project.
Cost is $200.00 for non members of the Guild, $175.00 for members, for 24 hours of tuition, and includes the yarn for the sampler.
Table looms are available for hire for the duration of the course
