The Rural City of Wangaratta is presenting their biennial WANGARATTA CONTEMPORARY TEXTILE AWARD in 2011 and is inviting artists working in any style of textile medium to submit an entry for consideration in the competitive assessment process. The award of $5,000 for a textile work will be acquired for the Wangaratta exhibitions Gallery collection. The call for entries for artists and weavers working in textiles are now open.
