Working with Light Molding Paste
Monday 28th Feb & Tuesday 1st March 2011 9.30 – 4.30

In this workshop you will make a variety of “paste fabrics” which are all suitable for stitch. Some will lend themselves to machine Embroidery & some to hand stitching. As the stitching will take place on the second day, you will have time to decide whether to do one or both. Vessels, bags & jewellery will be our focus. If you have brooch backs you may use those, if you have fastenings for bracelets they may be useful and if you have brass bangle bases you might want to use those. Come prepared to experiment under Isobel’s tuition & you will go away with useable items. No expertise in drawing is required and when you have mastered the techniques, there is ample scope for further creativity.
$140 members, $190 non-members
A kit will be supplied with the more unusual supplies - materials fee to be confirmed
