Not to be contained

Ceramicists Crick and Lewis explore our perception of the container, the vessel, the sculptured object, with Ikebana as their common source of inspiration. The artists share an interest in surface treatments but approach this from very different directions. Lewis’ work is painterly, layered and abstract while Crick explores geometry, applied texture and negative space.
