Red Cross - Telecross volunteers needed

Volunteers provide a daily reassurance telephone call each morning to individuals who are frail, aged, socially or geographically isolated or with a chronic medical condition.

Volunteers contribute to the independence of people living at home who are at risk of sudden illness or accident by reliably making a daily phone call to check on the clients health and welfare, as well as following prescribed procedure if the client does not answer the phone or there are concerns for their welfare.

Volunteers receive ongoing support and program training.
