Woden Festival - Be Part of the event

Planning for the fourth annual Woden Valley Community Festival to be held on Saturday 5 November at Eddison Park is well underway and we would love to have you involved!

This is a great opportunity to showcase all the wonderful services, events, activities and organisations supporting the Woden Valley and broader Canberra community. The theme for the festival is health, wellbeing and sustainability – so if you encourage these things – let us know!

There are two ways you can get involved this year:
* Hold a stall at the Woden Festival on Saturday 5 November at Eddison Park. Stalls for community groups are $25 and applications will need to be received by 14 October . For more information about being a stall holder and an application form, please contact me (see details below).
and/or
* We are very excited about the festival this year as we have expanded the program into a week long celebration of life in the Woden Valley called “Woden Alive – A Week in the Woden Valley” which will start on Sunday 30 October and culminate in the Woden Valley Festival at Eddison Park on Saturday 5 November . We are encouraging community groups to hold an event, open day, information session etc to showcase the great work that you're doing. This could be a new event or something you've already organised! These events will be advertised online via http://www.wodenalive.org.au and through event media releases and promotions. To enter your event either go online or contact me.

So there are many ways you get involved in the Woden Festival. If you have any questions or need further information, please do not hesitate to contact me on 6234 6820, 0409 315 702 or via emma.walter@wcs.org.au
