Canberra emerging artist working in the textiles fibre field. Currently I am collecting men’s flannelette shirts for an artwork I am envisioning. If anyone around the
Canberra area has any old flannelette shirts in their cupboards (see image for example) that they’ve been meaning to take down to the op shops or even throw in the rag pile I would love to take them off your hands. My work is themed around the identity of the craftsman in Australian culture from the 1970’s through to the modern day. I would be more then happy to collect any shirts you may have.
