Australia's biggest Art Cloth Swap

Australia's biggest Art Cloth Swap is to be hosted by ArtWear Publications, in conjunction with the Textile Art Festival in Brisbane.

Here's how it works:  decorate a 70cm square of silk and send it with your details to the girls at Embellish magazine - including a brief description about what you have done with the cloth and a stamped, self-addressed envelope for the return of a different piece of decorated silk the same size. Your Art Cloth and description will be displayed at the Textile Art Festival, to be held June 11-13, 2011.

After the event, you will be sent a silk piece created by someone else - so that everyone who enters receives a surprise piece of Art Cloth from a total stranger. The swap is meant to be fun, challenging and a great way to gain publicity, while showcasing the diversity and creativity of Art Cloth enthusiasts.
