In this workshop you will have the opportunity to design your own piece of jewellery and  learn some amazing jewellery making techniques. Tracy will help you to create your piece and show you how to use Perspex, rubber, wire and found objects to create a ring, bracelet/bangle or a necklace.

Fiona Hammond
Saturday 28 May: Workshop 1pm—4pm,    jewellery making  with artist Fiona Hammond (adults and teens)
Put the whimsy back into jewellery-making in this enjoyable workshop with local  artist Fiona Hammond. Combine items such as aluminium cans, op-shop-source textiles, bottle caps and ‘fishy’ soy sauce bottles to make one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces that make you smile!

Techniques incorporated in the workshop include pressing patterns into pieces of aluminium cans, steam set textile manipulation, and simple hand stitching. Some general jewellery making techniques will also be covered if required.

Walter Brecely

The workshop begins by learning how to make a gorgeous floral brooch from recyclables that everyone has around  their home. Emma will guide you in using your new skills to create your own necklace or earrings to take home.
