Textiles Project Work – Ruth Hadlow
This 12-week course will focus on the development of textile projects from inception through to realisation. Students will develop a self-instigated project brief, and develop a body of work through research, material sampling, critical discussion, and self-directed exploration. This course is aimed at art school graduates and community members with an existing textile practice who want to develop ideas for new art projects, who are interested in feedback on work-in-progress, and wish to participate in critical discussion about project work and art practice. The course will include readings, research and writing projects, critiques, feedback and a supportive group with whom to share ideas, feedback and resources.
