Colour Workshop with Merv Moriarty

Merv Moriarty is holding a four day colour workshop, this will be two consecutive weekends in May at his residence, Wallagoot Far South Coast NSW.

Colour Workshop:  14th & 15th, and following weekend 21st & 22nd of May

No drawing or painting ability is required for this workshop.  All colour exercises use a simple diagrammatic format and even when we use a subject such as a flowering plant, only bands or squares are used to record the colours.

I have carried out and continued to develop colour workshops, such as this, on countless occasions over the last thirty years or so. In these workshops I do not simply lecture on colour theory, although some lecture and demonstration time is essential to cover and explain fundamental principles of colour. These explanations and demonstrations of essential principles are spread out over the four days, but by far the greater learning experience realized in these workshops comes about as a living, hands on, discovery that you will share with all the other participants in the workshop. You will also be an active participant, because much of what you will learn about colour will come from guided research into the important things about colour that you individually, and the group collectively, will undertake.

Early Bird price $440.00 (payment made by Friday 22/4/11) or $480.00 full price.
